So what are we going to do about it? 18:35 - Mar 9 with 4780 viewsDejR_vu

People rightly angry, but as a fanbase we've collectively accepted this for way too long.

We're limited in what we can do, but we're not entirely powerless. What are people prepared to do to try and bring about change?

- don't renew season tickets?
- for the occasionals, boycott games (no one would be missing much)?
- boycott merchandise?
- don't buy food and drink in the stadium?
- make the club / owners aware that's what's happening until the changes that need to be made are made?

It'll hit the club in the pocket short-term but not as much as relegation or the seemingly inevitable result of the (non) development model.

Might achieve nothing, but might shock a club so used to taking a passive and compliant fanbase for granted into waking up.

So, what are people prepared to do?

All those seem to be a big over reaction to what will be another mid table season.
Fair enough if we were marooned at the bottom of the table but we’re not.

The injury and fitness situations need to be properly addressed at the end of the season and the fanbase need to be kept fully informed on what actions are being taken to prevent a third decimated season in a row. That would be a great start to keeping the supporters onside.

You are not going to be fully informed on anything with the current regime. They aren't going to change, they are going to double down if anything.

Whereas you are fully informed on everything? And double down on what exactly? The injuries and lack of fitness?

You always reappear during the lowest moments: certainly not a regular poster after a few decent wins.

What we try and do about it is get behind the players out there who are able to play. They are low on confidence and need support. Our gaffer also needs our backing. We need to support the team to get over the line this season. At the end we can challenge the powers that be but until then, back the team so they get out of this cycle.

Never knowingly right.

Nourry has his PR machine in overdrive at the moment. He conveniently ‘answered’ the prepared questions just a few days before the accounts came out. There’s no point believing any of the the injury updates. For example we were told Chair would be back in training in January. Now mid-March and he’s still no where to be seen. We sell Frey in January which I can understand with Burrell out injured to be replaced by a guy who literally gets injured in his first training session. We have literally played half a season with one out and out striker. Make it make sense. Do we not do our homework when we sign players about their fitness / ability to play week in week out at this level? Our due diligence is appalling. We have signed about 8 players from various parts of the world. None of them are ready for the intensity of the Championship. I genuinely think all of them will not have a successful career at this level or better. We have shopped in the bargain basement and we are now seeing Nourry’s signings are so poor. The guy has been unable to build a squad with depth at this level. You need a balance at this level of experience and quality. Field has been bombed out. Cook has been dropped…not sure why. Chair has vanished. Everyone left is essentially a kid. This is all down to Belk, Nourry and his best mate cycling Ben.

I'll rattle off a stiff letter to the Times.

And…if Shakespeare were an Rs fan, he'd tell them to stick it up their Coriolanus..

I speak to people on here in person mostly and go to the meetings with CN, where he sits and lies to us.

But mostly I do it just to get downvoted by you.

He’s a ST holder who goes home and away. Missed something like only 3 or 4 games last season.

He also represented a fans group in the “behind closed door” sessions with Nourry.

He may not be a regular poster, but he’s a proper supporter who is far more aware of what is really going on than you are, Ned, as hard as that is for you to stomach.

Dismiss what he says all you want. Won’t make you right.

Enough of the waffle. I’m setting up a crowd-funding page to buy a Raleigh Chopper which I will ride naked across the pitch during the next home game in a ‘SAVE OUR HAMSTRINGS - BMX BEN OUT !’ protest

I’m sad but, as one of the probably few too young to remember the Prem 90s glory days let alone 75/76, not a lot sadder than through much of my QPR existence. My mate’s kid is 15/16, loves it and he’s only ever known the club being a mess off the pitch to some extent and being 16th in the second division on it. Feel sorry for the yoof. Not even a glorious third division second place and Hammersmith celebrations or an Andy Impey dancing on the pitch at Watford.

I’ll renew partly because I really like the spot I have and would struggle to get one near it again and partly through blind hope it’ll improve. All for not spending on the club beyond that but I don’t much anyway. Probably have loads of ‘QPR Cash’ somewhere.

It’s grim. It’ll probably get grimmer this week, next week and next season. But it’ll be better one day or at least it’ll get worse then improve to the point we’re at now so it’ll feel better.

Saying that I’m fascinated to see what sort of prices they concoct for renewals.

I do think things will come to a head soon. You look at the Birmingham game, that's going to be another trouncing. Another day or so of social media outrage. Lose at Leicester too (very possible) and I can't see Stephan keeping his job. Nourry clearly won't want to get rid of him as he's his man but he will cut him loose to save himself.

I still keep looking at Millwall away and a 5-0 thrashing. That could be the Enola Gay moment.

The likes of you and him think your gatekeeping really makes you ‘proper supporters’ compared to us Normies. Your ‘pronouncements’ always increase during a bad run on the pitch. Most of us can think for ourselves and form our own opinions thanks 👍

The question I would like answered is why, during the past few seasons, we go on a good run, climb the table, get around the top six and then put the club in to reverse and slide down the table.

Injuries is not the answer.

It’s right up there alongside; What is the meaning of life.

To be Fair Ned it was you who said that Mark only turns up when we're losing, I think Hunter was just saying thats very unfair. We're obviously all proper supporters, I don't think any of us are doing this for a laugh whatever people's opinions are.

Part of why you won't see protests etc is because there is no universal viewpoint that this person is the one to be removed like you sometimes get with a manager or owner. Even the other year when online the hatred towards Les and Hoos went mad you saw very little of that other than a few stickers and the odd chant at games.

It's genuinely hard to know who is to blame. Some thing Nourry others think the manager or Ben Williams or Lee Hoos. I think it's time for change at the top but it's not as if we were any good before Nourry came in and there's no guarantee the next person will be any better which is why not a lot will happen from fans unless we keep losing then I think the manager will get it.

I know he's a nepo baby but he can't be stupid. How can anyone look at what's going on and think, yes that's a good use of my £2m every month?

But then he signed off on Nourry getting the job in the first place. He's kept Hoos in his role despite all the evidence showing how useless he is. It's worrying.

The only thing we can do is to make the club aware we are unhappy and that is by chants at the game

An actual boycott of a game would send the clearest possible message, particularly if it’s a televised one but I doubt very much whether there’s enough unanimity for that.

At least Hoos, is personable and used to speak to the fanbase regularly, has open house questioning, talks to people in the 100 club. He is half the problem yes, but he is at least personable and can manage people.

Williams and Nourry sit in the corner and don't talk to anyone.
