We will have some other players back for some games, I hope.
If we get less than four and go down, the club will be a laughing stock. The only advantage that would bring is Nourry and Williams and our Methodology teams will be out the door surely....
The fans will vote with their feet, if that's not the case.
We are best priced 80/1 for relegation, in several places. The Opta computer has us down for 11 more points - 58pts and 18th place. With 5 home games and 4 away that sounds about right, a safe but inglorious finish.
Of course the morbidly pessimistic that populate this forum (currently standing at around 38% predicting 0-3 points) will talk up the possibility of disaster. For them 80/1 must sound tempting.

With five home games left, 3/4 of them being against teams I suspect will be on the beach like us, and players returning from injury, you'd hope for more than 4, and realistically we should be aiming for 9/10.
But this is QPR.

I doubt the "Opta computer" factors in key players out likely for the rest of the season, or even the quality of the back-ups.

I think the effect of the injuries has been exaggerated. Burrell has been a loss but he has been out for the best part of 12 league games from which we got 12 points, and during which we played 5 of the top 7 teams. It is nowhere near as dire as some are making out.

We'll get another 6-10 points. Not sure how, and it's depressing but not surprising how quickly we can turn a half decent season into a massive clusterfck and relegation battle, but we'll survive.

Well we are currently 0-11 since Madsen went off injured against Southampton. I think that was a very significant loss to the team both in our ability to score goals and not to concede goals as is shown clearly by our stats and performances since he went off. Obviously being without our top scorer Burrell, best carrier of the football Chair, until now possibly our best wideman Pokku, plus the others has had a major impact too.
I think the impact of these injuries to key players especially where we have had inadequate back up all season (Madsen) is possibly undervalued, but it certainly does not help by continually playing in my view a poor Keeper Walsh when we have better Keepers Nardi and Hamer at the Club. Nardi looked to have improved his game off his goal line when suddenly given 2 or 3 games before Christmas before being suddenly dropped again. Stefan's stubborn insistence in not changing our shape must also make us a very predictable side to play against. But so many injuries to key players without the financial strength to have adequate back up is the main problem for me and the people running our Performance Group clearly need replacing.

Opta computer now predicting 60 points i.e. 13 more than the starting point. 1 chance in a 1000 for promotion and 1 chance in 1666 for relegation. 250/1 for relegation with the bookie chappies.

Given what we have coming up, is there any reason why we can't win, at least, the next 3. As a reminder, we have Portsmouth (H), Watford (H) and free falling PNE (A). Then Bristol C (H). OK, if we get anything from Ipswich or Millwall (both away) I'll be surprised.
