Been lots of understandable moaning about our manager while our injury-ravaged team was looking one dimensional, unfit, devoid of confidence and being taken to the cleaners game after game recently.
I would therefore like to give him credit for taking that same bare bones team that frankly looked clueless and fashioning it into an outfit that has scored 11 goals in three games without most of our best players
The opposition have helped no doubt but he has to deserve some credit for the team coming out of an international break with Chair, Madsen, Burrell etc still out and playing like that

I think he deserves a second season crack at us. The squad he has is better than Marti's. But we should also crack 60 points and the top half of the table, so there has been progress.
The areas he need to improve on are the games against teams we really should be beating, the likes of Oxford, Blackburn, Portsmouth, West Brom, early season Southampton, etc, all of whom we have dropped points against. Cut those out and we could be in the playoffs. |  |

If we had just managed 3 wins (maybe a bit more intent in the two games against oxford, and held our lead against Wrexham for about 2 minutes longer, we would indeed be in the playoffs.. Certainly think Stephan needs to stay, and next season, we would be still challenging for a play off spot currently with the expansion to top 8.. If we can finish 8th, it would be a great benchmark to push on from |  | | |
