Weirdly I’ve been to a lot more of the further away clubs - Middlesbrough, Huddersfield, Blackpool, Blackburn etc. but haven’t fancied Millwall, Charlton, Watford. | | | |

went to the old den 3 times 71, 72, and 73.....as a young teenager, stood at the front of the cbl....kept very quiet.
first time at the old den with any of our lot singing, 500 or so, was the league cup 2nd leg, 1987...0-0, after winning the home leg 2-1 at home in front of the zulus. | |

no clamour for tickets across social media for this one and we get both tiers, which is rare.
you can get to and from the new den, without trouble , it is easy to get too, one stop from london bridge to sarf bermondsey and down stairs and follow signs to away end, a few minute walk to gates and all fenced etc . last season we were not held in, wandered up to station and no grief, nothing. i got on chuff and was in civilisation in minutes . | | | |

Would've been up for this one and drinks around Borough Market pre and post but the KO time meant a flat no from me.

It must be over six years since I attended an Away game in the League..... West Ham my last game that involved travelling. Cannot believe that when I look at it in cold isolation.
Considering I've done over 80 grounds following the R's away in my time I can't get my head around it. |  |

Yes 1 here from deep sarf (Norfolk) Bus replacement between Norwich & Ipswich so will drive 25 mins to Thetford @ 06:15 get the train to Cambridge & change for London there .
The very 1st time the R's played at this newer version of the den in 2004 we had both tiers & sold 2875 or thereabouts , by 11am yesterday we had sold 2866 , i reckon that is good going for a silly lunchtime kick off & means it could well be the most we have ever taken over there.
Reckon there was a good number at the old den in 72/73 as we got promoted that season but difficult to work out as R's fans appeared scattered round the ground in those days . | | | |
