Not a great game, by any means.
Tipp were really off-form and unfit, and Cork took far too long to take advantage of it.
Not great that it came down to a puck of the ball in the end.
Tipp will obviously improve.
Cork might be happier that their second half was better than it was in the Final last year, but they wouldn't want to get carried away. | |

Not sure who the new ref was but he was pretty useless and his umpires actually worse if thats possible.

Limerick still the benchmark, I think. In patches in the League Final and again today they were at their boringly efficient best. Dull, but efficient.
They'd most likely have won today if it wasn't for Lynch's petulance. Their violence is catching up with them these last few years, refs finally calling them on it. But they remain the benchmark when they're on top form. | |
