The serious business of the Munster Senior Hurling Championship begins tomorrow, with the visit of plucky no-hopers Cork to THE DEFENDING ALL-IRELAND CHAMPIONS, Tipperary. Release the Pirahnas!

Steady now, being a champion requires us to treat all comers with respect...before we attempt to wallop them!

Great to be back there just after that incredible win last year. against Co. Brian.

Poll: Who should do the Birmingham Frederick?

My nephew played from them last year when they won the Nicky Rackard. He is in the States for the summer this year. Big step up for them

Shocked by the margin of victory - very unKilkennylike

Good. A Galway team with a player called Aran Island deserves to win absolutely everything.

On the football side, I hope Donegal haven't emptied the tank with an impressive league campaign. However, I trust McGuinness to have them peaking at the business end of the Championship.

I saw yesterday was his senior All Ireland debut. He has been the next superstar for a while now.

I read that Wexford’s boy wonder has gone off travelling this year. Lee Chin will have to be their player of the season for the 28th year in a row.

He's a serious talent. Can't wait to see what he'll become.

Haven't seen the young Wexican starlet yet. Would be great for them if he came good.

Hail to the back-to-back April Champions!

Monster crowd, quite the contrast to yesterday.

Not a great game, by any means.
Tipp were really off-form and unfit, and Cork took far too long to take advantage of it.
Not great that it came down to a puck of the ball in the end.

Tipp will obviously improve.
Cork might be happier that their second half was better than it was in the Final last year, but they wouldn't want to get carried away.

Better luck next week despite bagging 4 goals and a guy who should have been red carded scorong 3-12 there DannyPaddox.
Not sure who the new ref was but he was pretty useless and his umpires actually worse if thats possible.
Waterford have to beat Tipp because they are getting nothing off Cork and Limerick IMO

That result probably accurately reflects where Dublin are, in their current period of, ahem, transition.

Cracking day of GAA.

Donegal and Mayo join Meath in taking the short route to the All-Ireland Championship, and maybe, just maybe it will suit them all to have a month off now before entering the extremely demanding new format that means amateur teams may have to win six knockout games in nine weeks to win the All-Ireland.

A great day for Down and Roscommon.

Cork-Limerick was a curiously damp squib, but Waterford's late goal puts Tipp under huge pressure if they're going to retain the All-Ireland for the first time in my lifetime.

Yes, my lot hammered Mayo in their own backyard . Thats me happy for another 10 years.
Sad to see a half empty main stand because the grab all associating decided to charge 35 euro for kids. That went well 🤷🏻‍♂️

Unreal, isn't it?

Limerick still the benchmark, I think. In patches in the League Final and again today they were at their boringly efficient best. Dull, but efficient.

They'd most likely have won today if it wasn't for Lynch's petulance. Their violence is catching up with them these last few years, refs finally calling them on it. But they remain the benchmark when they're on top form.

I was chatting to my Mayo cousin this morning, a wise woman who played for Mayo for years, and we couldn't figure out the odds of 7/2 for the Rossies, or even why they were outsiders at all.

Good group of lads. Daire Gregg probably our best forward was unlucky to be banned after a sending off against New York . He still has to come back .
Lots of players from St Bridget’s , the All Ireland club finalists are struggling to make the first team .
Very talented players in that Squad .
Best kit in GAA as well . Hoops of course . .
