Having watched and endured recent mind-numbing performances, all the way through to the final whistles, I'm reminded of a quote from a novel by the French philosopher Jean Paul Sartre: "L'ennui, c'est ca". This match against Swansea has all the ingredients to be a repeat of the recent Bristol City endurance test. Neither team has any motivating reason to deliver a result, both having secured their tickets to return next season. As such, I predict we won't see any meaningful tackles. The pace of play will inevitably become pedestrian, with defenders on both sides showcasing their ability to pass the ball from one side of the pitch to the other, untroubled by a high press from the opposition.
