So who does everyone want to go up via the play-offs?
From a club stand point, Southampton would be the most logical. They are clearly a cut above the rest and would most likely go up automatically next season if they don't, so would be nice to not immediately go into next season giving away six points.
From a neutral POV, I do hate Millwall but think they would bring the most entertainment value. Seeing them host West Ham, Chelsea, Arsenal at The Den would just be hilarious.
Hull I don't think have any chance anyway, but would like them to stay down as I can't imagine them maintaining this form next season.
Middlesbrough, I'm really not fussed either way.

Hull are a Mickey Mouse club who've had way more than their fair share of time in the Premier League over the last 20 years.

I'm quite torn..
My fallback position is to want as few as possible parachute money clubs in our league so that means I should want Saints to join Ipswich in taking their filthy lucre up and the hapless Foxes having parachute money in L1.
BUT.. the idea of Hull going up is fantastic, I mean they had a transfer embargo on them and their turnover and operating revenue is average at best - in terms of financial clout they must be similar to us surely? However, they have navigated their way to playoffs and held their nerve at the end whereas we just went "pppffffffftttt".
Them (or Millwall) going up would surely disabuse folks of the idea that we are doing "okay" cos I dont think we are at all... this season has shown that crummy upstart piddly hitters CAN dig-in and amass 70+ points over 46 games. If one of them could now breach the playoffs I'd hope it'd be a massive wake-up call for our club.

Millwall, mainly because it should be a slap in the face for everyone making excuses for the past decade - that a team with the same resources and similar problems re: costs due to location are able to succeed whilst we've been content to be London's equivalent of Bristol City/Preston.
It doesn't have to take hundreds of millions to make it work - first and foremost it just requires having a plan that can be stuck to at board level and downstream of that, demanding a minimum level of effort each and every game.

I live just outside B'hawood, them going to Wembley is quite a fete - especially as they only came back up again at the start of the season. Beating Mark Hughes made the victory even sweeter.
