Yes, I'd like to see Liam Morrison back playing for us.
From the list I can only see Sam Field and Rayan Kolli going for now. Depending on how the first half of next season goes I think others may go.
Unless Jonathan Varane is transformed over the summer I think the priority is a deepish, mobile and technical centre mid. Though it looked like Ilemaheyu plays there in the brief spell that he was on the pitch on Saturday.

I don't like to be too critical of young players but I would be amazed if Adjetey-Brew makes it any higher than the Conference. I thought he looked pretty suspect in the Dulwich Hamlet game, but it is the only time I have seen him live and so potentially a snap judgement. |  | | |

seen him a couple of time and actually think he might do ok , loves a tackle dosnt get caught out that often with runners behind him and can cross a ball , ive more faith in him than esquedina defensivly thats for sure [Post edited 5 May 14:21]

Disagree with pretty much all of this, sorry.
Mbengue's a loose cannon but he's also our only defender with any pace, and can play across the back four. Going into next season with him as our first-choice RB would be terrifying, but I'd be perfectly happy with him as backup.
Left back's even more of a mess. Esquerdinha's clearly not up to Championship standard yet, but has shown flashes of potential, and who else do we have? Surely we wouldn't be stupid enough to go into next season with him and Larkeche as our first-choice options, in which case I feel like getting him a League One loan and revisiting things in 12 months would be a smarter move than just letting him go.
Saito, Varane and Dembele were all bought for decent money, absolutely no way the club tears up their contracts. All we can do is hope that whatever magic they worked on Madsen rubs off on them, that they get decent pre-seasons, and come back in far better form.
Really don't get the hate for Field and Morrison at all. They wanted first-team football, we couldn't give it to them last season, we've structured the loans so they could come back in the summer now that Hayden and Cook have gone. Both good solid pros, both have shown they can do it at this level, both perfectly solid squad options. | | | |

That centre mid is shocking. If we’re relying on Kieran Morgan as a go-to, short of an incredible improvement in ball retention and delivery, he is nowhere near ready and needs a season long loan to hone his craft.
We need maybe 3 centre mids, 2 of which have to have the ability to
Win and ball and turn, or receive a ball and turn, then get forward to support the attackers. We’ve been crying out for one for years and to me we can talk about full backs all day long but unless that is sorted we will continue to be (1) carved apart and (2) get very little positive forward movement without resorting to long balls and continue to be a frustrating watch. |  | | |

Kieran Morgan has been around the first team long enough now that this is the season he needs to properly break out and become a strong 35-40 game player, so I see some logic in targeting him as such.
That said, he absolutely cannot do it alone and if we have Varane, Madsen and Morgan as our main three central midfielders it has potential for carnage, especially when one or two are injured as is bound to happen at some point, so we definitely need another bod in there. |  | | |

I do wonder if Celar comes back, and we can't / don't sell / loan him out, if he will be better under Stephan.
Obviously his loan hasn't gone well, and nothing points to an improvement but you never know. Sometimes, different manager, different style of play, bit of confidence. Playing two up front with Roman or Kone also very different to when he was here last, and wiith Maden moving the ball forwards faster in midfield.
I realise this is a hugely optimistic view of things, but could he be next seaon's Madsen? | |
