Some of the treatment of the teams has been appalling too so I would assume fans from all sorts of places have had big issues entering the country if they were able to do so at all. They’ve just put no thought into it at all because they don’t care.

Such a bad decision but I agree that FIFA should have had all this covered. Unfortunately Infantino is so far up Trump's rectum that it's not surprising this would happen. A prerequisite of holding a World Cup is allowing access to players and officials. This is just a flagrant breach of that alongside barring Iran etc.

Trump is so stupid he can’t see a great opportunity in the popularity stakes. If he was to intervene personally claiming his support for International fair play for a world event he would gain huge amounts of brownie points.

Same here. Right now, I'm 50/50 about watching it at all. I'm trying to stay interested, but it's really, really difficult.

Apparently they did and claim it was an overzealous border agent who denied him. He’s there now.

Last time I went to the states, I paid for my esta, got to Newark airport, did the finger print and eye scan and got taken off to secondary immigration, two hours later they call my name, say “have a nice day” and I was released without talking to anyone or getting an explanation, my mate was left waiting by baggage reclaim not knowing what was going on, I wasn’t allowed to use my phone whilst in there.
They have now just revoked the ticket allocation to the Iranian fans - many of which have already made expensive travel plans. Seriously questions who is making the decisions and the interference of non sporting organisations for the 'worlds greatest sporting event' Absolute farce - why is this being allowed?
