We've moved on leaps and bounds from the era of Bruce Rioch finding out he'd been sacked by us on Ceefax.

Didn’t they only have 2 points or something when he came in? Bit of bonkers decision that, IMO, even if I’m not a big fan of Edwards.

Inevitable though, right? Said at the time he was mental swapping Boro for that lot. Guess what? The new guy is Portuguese!

Can definitely see those two completing a Championship season. Not. 4 games in and both will pick a season ending muscle strain. One last pay day.

Didn't exactly go to plan at Luton in the Championship the season after relegation for him though did it?

Well, it did the first time around! But, yes, granted not in their return. I just thought the whole point of appointing into a lost cause last season was for this season! Why bother otherwise? Anyway, hopefully they are a mess and have a disastrous campaign. Edwards will pop up somewhere again in the autumn/winter, I’m sure.

What a plum. He’s been in football long enough to know that managers rarely outlast a player’s contract. If it was that important he should have had a key man clause inserted.

True, but he probably expected him to last at least one game after he signed though

I mean, they should absolutely pis that division with Paul Hart in charge, but it's interesting he's still got the standing he has especially when the trend in football watching this World Cup is about 'pass it directly, forwards, often'.

I have a feeling they may not roll that Division Lootown a point in case Leicester need drastic surgery and from the outside it seems they don’t have the right people in place to do it. If they are handing the navigation duties to Russell Martin that’s a big gamble as you can’t see him getting muck n nettles players in. Also he proved unable to turn egos around in the fake Rangers camp at Ibrox. Be nice to see them struggle ……. Again

Yes I wonder where the half dozen brave soldiers who decided to line up along the bar in the Crown & Sceptre a couple of years back after they'd beaten us and try and intimidate an empty pub of mostly women and kids are getting on. "Straight back up, straight back up, Leicester City" indeed.
