Hard to make much of a case for any betting angle in this Germany game. Jurgen Locadia is big lump up front who got sent off against Scotland recently and is a big price for a card. Probably because they don’t expect the ball to ever go near him.
Great occasion and worth tuning in for the start just for that but if they have kept vaguely respectably by half time they’ve done well.

As weird as it sounds, I reckon Scotland are more likely to nick a point off Brazil than Morocco. Aside from the equaliser I thought Brazil were really poor last night, and assuming they beat Haiti will already be as good as qualified by the time they face Scotland.
Wouldn't be surprised if the pressure and anticipation got to the Scottish players as well - they seemed very nervous and disjointed last night, you could tell there was a real fear of crashing out first game. I think they'll be better next time, even if I still expect Morocco to win. [Post edited 14 Jun 16:34]

People are underestimating Morocco and overestimating Brazil I think. Their reputation is carrying most of the weight here, on ability, Viniscus aside, this is a really poor imitation of the classic Brazil sides of the past |  | | |

Watched the Scots this Morning and thought Haiti were unlucky. Morocco are just the sort technical side that will pass and outwit the Écosse and have them buried into a wooden overcoat and 6ft under long before full time.
I've always had a 10 quid flutter on Uruguay since 1986 when that team of Death squad Einsatzgruppen kicked the living shit out of anything that had a central nervous system, Yet had dandy fops like Enzo Francescoli who stood equal in style and talent with the very best.
Always thought they should do better. They've had a few 1/4 finals and a semi final i seem to recall yet no cigar.

I’ve thought about it a lot today and I’m torn between occasion/history just weighing so heavy on them that they couldn’t perform, but also the qualifiers I did watch (particularly the Denmark and Greece games) they do leave themselves insanely open in transition which is what kept occurring last night. You can’t do that against that Morocco side, surely? |
