The Spain result is incredible. Fair play to Cape Verde but that was Spain at their tiki-taka worst - I kept waiting for them to step up the intensity but it didn't come and they could even have lost. Should still win the group though and the lack of jeopardy, like the Champions League group stages, is my main issue with the expanded format. [Post edited 15 Jun 20:49]

Beautiful goal from Ashour, Egypt look really comfortable - defence especially - tamed Doku. and Salah keeping things flowing. Belgium, on the other hand, look disjointed and out of sorts. As they so often seem to do in international tournaments [Post edited 15 Jun 21:19]
