Thank you for your email and of taking the time to contact us relating to our new partnership with Mr Q and the announcement.
As the Stanley Bowles Stand is the only stand that has QPR embossed into the seats within the stadium, the content and location was solely around including ‘Mr’ and ‘Q’ to show ‘Mr QPR’ as a part of the announcement, as opposed to this being specific to the Stanley Bowles Stand.
Just to kindly confirm, the partnership was announced at 3pm on Friday afternoon, and this was not a deliberate set time or pre-planned specific marketing technique. The announcement was due to happen at any time on Friday, and the time suitable for all involved was mid-afternoon in the end, taking into consideration other announcements that day, including pre-season.
Yes, we can confirm that if you would like to purchase a sponsor-free shirt, there is no issue at all in organising this for you. If you would like to send your size to us, when the shirts become available, we can organise the ordering and delivery of a non-sponsored shirt. The Petobismol pink kit from the McClaren season was our third kit the year after but Warburton refused to have the team in it allegedly. Resulted in us playing in the light sky blue number at Fulham which did not amuse the referee who'd said we'd need to wear pink for that one. |

Well I’m not too impressed with any of next season’s shirts so I’ve just taken delivery of a 77/78 long sleeve, silk, home shirt from the club shop.
It really is a thing of beauty. Three Adidas stripes down each sleeve and a felt QPR badge, just like the old days.

Blimey, you've triggered me there, Rhondda.
That was my first QPR replica kit. I was obviously very small back then and soon outgrew it.
It henceforth lived, cherished in the top draw of the set next to my bed for many years until...........
One day it disappeared. Apparently, my mum threw it out, without consulting me, because 'that old thing doesn't fit you any more'.
