My wife is a hairdresser and used to be an educator with Paul Mitchel as well as a salon owner. I attended a lot of their invited employee events with her and met so many people from all over the world who were so talented at their jobs from the business side down to the working behind the chair side. The company oozed integrity, style and were innovators in the hair industry and they had depth and soul and were inspiring and I was just along for the ride. They set you up with all the wisdom and acumen to succeed.
Met some lovely people including Rico and Pepi who in Hawaii were going around telling people they were from London but were actually from Peterbrough. They kept away from me as they knew I would take the piss, and I did.
As its patrons got older it started to gravitate towards shiny events in Vegas with tattooed Beckham like figures stating how everything was awesome. Influencers were pushed forward and education diminished. Now you get Paul Mitchell products in box stores. It just became less about cutting hair. Now she works out of our house making it work with all the benefits of being involved at John Paul Mitchel systems and no BS and she’s excellent at what she does.

I can honestly say I don’t give a flying f uck about the kits. I’ll get used to them and one day people will probably say that they’re “iconic” masterpieces.
Whenever someone in one of those kits scores a goal for us, it’ll make me happy.

I could accept the away kit if the shorts and socks were in keeping and maybe a darker lilac colour. But blue? Maybe I'm missing something and need to see it all as one. Just doesn't seem to go
The collars look wonky on all kits.
Home is a bit meh. Trying to copy the influence kit but it's just not working with that colour of amber.
Hopefully they'll have an amazing third kit as it's going to get a lot of use!! |

I am sure there will be a third kit, which, in a moment of genius will probably be a totally white kit to honour our 1967 cup win, thus rendering us unable to fulfil the Preston away fixture.

The obsession with gold on the kits has bothered me for a while but I've just learned to accept it. I don't really like the collar but I usually don't so nothing new.
