Next Saturday, I’m off to see Elvis Costello at Shepherds Bush Empire with a mate from Amsterdam.
We want to watch the Netherlands v Sweden match beforehand.
Any suggestions for a pub in W12 with a big screen and no nobheads?
How about that pub next door that used to be The Bush, the Something Social?
Last time I was in that pub with my Dutch mate (about 30 years ago) we ended up getting absolutely wasted with the actor who played Spudgun in Bottom!!

An opportunity to give a mensh for Elvis' sister Mary who had a terrific show on Radio London on Saturday evening. Lots of recondite stuff - she introduced me to many bands etc. NRBQ, Mallard, the Blasters.

We’ve used it for the last couple of seasons and it always shows the live games. It’s got a few decent size TVs and a big screen. Pretty sure the landlady is a QPR fan. | | | |
