Bonnie Tyler 21:00 - Jun 15 with 3905 viewscolinallcars

In intensive care following an emergency abdo operation and subsequent induced coma.
Said to be very unwell which sounds ominous.
I don't know much about her but really hope she pulls through.
Any fans on here ?

Very husky voice like she smoked 40 a day.

Heartache was a massive hit. But my memories cant remember much more.

You know you are getting older when you get surprised how many stars of yesteryear start popping their.clogs, so to speak.

Hope she pulls through after the op, of course.

Saw her at Reading, she sorted the crowd out after they'd bottled Meatloaf off. Not a fan of her music, but that was impressive and have admired her since. Hope she pulls through, but it doesn't sound hopeful.

Thought Bonnie was a one off.... apart from Ellen Foley, I don't think there is another female singer that could do justice to Jim Steinman's music, her voice seemed perfect for his music

Lost in France and Holding out for a hero were her other two big hits. There may be more but I’m struggling to remember any more.
Channel 4 used to use the latter song for their NFL coverage that started around 1984.

Total Eclipse of the Heart was a huge hit.

I once told my friends the Bonnie Tyler satnav joke and they just stared at me blankly, as they didn't know who she was.

"Remember to listen to me but look at her. Don't get it the wrong way round. That would be hideous."

I remember Mark LLamar once called the Stereophonics. The Bonny Tyler tribute band.
Don’t think it was a compliment.

Is that the one where she’s holding out for a Starbuck’s?

I had a schoolboy crush on her after seeing her singing Lost in France in the mid 70s.
RIP Bonnie Tyler

I was her runner for some cheesy BBC one off music show, she was a delight.
Her rider that day consisted of lots of tea and an Ethernet cable.
She was a lovely lady.

She was an epic singer and a really lovely person. Met her once and she was so down to earth. RIP Bonnie

Never knowingly right.
