| Anyone want to work for QPR FC 23:43 - Jun 16 with 2659 views | numptydumpty | Two jobs going apparently currently. Supporter Liason Officer - a go between the club and the fans to get the fans voice heard, apparently. Matchday groundsman - also clearly needed and if anyone can deviously scuff up the opponents penalty spot, all well and good. https://www.qpr.co.uk/club/car I am applying but I want 40k a week and a six year contract, paid in full if I am sacked after six weeks, for being crap. One of the jobs offers Death in Service Protection - begs a question that i can't seem to understand why thats in the small print.... [Post edited 16 Jun 23:46]

| Anyone want to work for QPR FC on 03:07 - Jun 17 with 2398 views | TwoHalves | Just found it via the link (inadvertantly buying a ticket for the Bromley game in the process)* and have to say it was like seeing a ghost. My Grandad’s first job, according to my late Mum, was ‘whiting the lines at QPR’. There just so happens to be a photo of a groundsman ‘whiting the lines’ at Loftus Road on the Careers page (although I can’t imagine the R’s were established at HQ when he was on the first rung of his employment ladder). Spooky, nevertheless. * Now I’ve got to figure out how to reproduce the damn thing. | | | |

| "Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1." |

QPR announced, that the Archbishop of Canterbury, and Hammersmith and Fulham councillor, Christian Nourry, will become their new Supporter Liaison Officer. Nourry, 19, already has an impressive array of jobs at the west London club. The CEO/COO/DOF speaking after the announcement said, 'I see the role integrating within my existing portfolio and allowing me to talk to myself to achieve above the median line of results for me.' Nourry is also expected to sign himself and answer the club's long-running goalkeeper problem. 'I'm in talks with myself, and an announcement is imminent. But yes, I want to be #1!' (proper football) the club are missing a trick here. [Post edited 18 Jun 8:02]
