Love a bit of sunshine but have to work in this heat on an open building site . Pretty certain the Aussies shut them down after it gets above 33 . Not the case here apparently.

Not sure what the laws are there now, but when I was traveling there in 1990, I had a grape-picking gig in Mildura and on day one, the boss said, 'If it hits 100 (37.8c) we have to stop.'
Only things was, the stop declaration came from the local association of vineyard owners. Thus, the 'official' temperature had an uncanny knack of quivering like a tail-ender on 99!
Currently 32c in my barrio, with Tuesday set for a high betty swallox temp, of 40c.

I lived in Adelaide fir 4 yesterday early 2000's, 38c and over they had to offer you the option of going home - unpaid.
Phew. I'll never forget the summer of '76, we were concreting support walls and abutting land of Wealdstone Brook on Elmstead Ave, Wembley. One of the lads came up with the bright idea of putting cans of beer down into a shaded area of the running water for cold beer breaks, worked well!

We had few days in UK early June before heading to Portugal & Spain and had rain and as low as 14deg - currently mid 30’s in Seville but back to London Thurs so let’s see what impact we can make
My boss commented that I was dressed a bit casual for work yesterday (black jeans, dark green t-shirt). So today I've come in in blue jeans and am wearing my summer trainers. AKA get f**ked boss, miss me with any talk of dress code. Like yeah, it's an office but I'm a f**king professional and I'm really good at my job. Well, I am when the sun isn't three feet above the roof.
Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. Stefan Moore, Stefan Moore running down the wing. He runs like a cheetah, his crosses couldn't be sweeter. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore. Stefan Moore.

I work from home but am being dragged into the office today for the first time in 6 months. I'm about to test their 'No Shorts' policy but having not worn trousers since my last visit in November, I'm not putting big boy pants on for anyone in this heat. I'm the send highest income generator in the company so they can like it or lump it.
Working in La Rochelle this week. Presently a nice, steady 42 degrees. I genuinely think I'm gonna have to just bin all the clothes I brought when I get back.
