In the past, my photo, full name and address have all been posted on here, and I've been threatened several times, most recently last night. As far as I can tell, all of those users are still active. I'm sure some people will say I deserve it because I'm provocative or irritating at times. Fair enough—you can think that if you like. But there's no asterisk after those rules saying they only apply if the poster isn't a nuisance. I've seen it happen to plenty of others too, for much milder things than i've said. I'll admit I haven't always stuck to the rules myself. But they seem like a sensible framework to follow going forward. I'd also imagine it's in FansNetwork's own interests to enforce them consistently, as failing to do so could potentially expose the site to legal issues. I've been using this site for around 15 years, and have met about a dozen of you in person, so it's fair to say it's played a part in my life and brought me joy, but sometimes it's grim and makes me want to not post anymore. Only a weird compulsion and habit stop me giving it up. Just one nause's opinion. [Post edited 11 Jul 14:04]

Yet again I find myself reminding the board: if you don't like a poster or, they annoy you, or you just think they are a plum, then use the 'IGNORE' button and get on with your life. FFS! I've only got you, Clive, Stowmarket, and that antagonistic fecker from Cork, Brian McCarthy to go, and I'll have a totally ignored the lot of you. And I tell you what, that billionaire media mogul Whittingham is that effing close to being 'Ignored'. Seriously though, life's too short. Just hit ignore if someone twists your melon! | |

| me on 16:41 - Jul 11 with 5248 views | Boston | I actually think clicking the ignore button takes away from this board, it's like putting a jigsaw puzzle together with missing pieces. | |

| me on 17:09 - Jul 11 with 5110 views | stevec | I’m still reeling from this time a few years back, when gunfight at the OK corral nearly broke out. Surprised Clive hasn’t cut short his holiday and flown back to the UK at this time of crisis. | | | |
| me on 17:18 - Jul 11 with 5065 views | Superhoops2808 | The comical thing here, some people always have to have the last word rather than look at themselves and say 'Yep, I've been guilty of that' and move on. Think Hollywood is spot on, use the ignore button, or hide thread. In truth I have not had to use it too much since a certain Elbow departed but it is still useful nonetheless. And I think I have said before, one day (although I hope it never comes) Clive will think I am done - I don't need this s**t and we will all be losers as a result A long term friend of mine on FB posted RIP about Anne Widecombe and some of his friends went into meltdown and started verbally abusing each other. I added to the post pointing out they were posting on someone else's FB post and to show a little respect, and I was greeted with 'Well they started it' - I mean don't 10 year olds behave like that not bloody full-grown adults.
