Been in the 40s most of the week! Driving home on Wednesday, two long teams of fire engine crews racing to forest fires passed us by; those boys and girls are mainly volunteers, and are exceptionally brave people!
Just had a mate pop round earlier, to drop off valuables and paperwork before going on hols. His place is in a fire risk area, and that is now what people do before going on hols! |  |

I have to say currently i am only just about surviving at the moment.
Am done with this heat day after day after day after fr*cking day.
P*ss*ng down and 3 degrees C would be most welcome
Some of my work is outside which currently is draining and the other is assisting wirh half the worlds poor mental health which currently so many suffering and i got to be the positive one - the together one.
And the f**k**g world cup nighttime schedule is doing me in also.
England causing stress at 3am dont help much either.
Not seeing the Mrs much, she is on her alotment till god knows what time and my closest mate, his brother passed recently. Only 62.
All this i normally can deal with, its more than normal, but i tend to brush stuff off, but the weather prevents any down time to get myself together. Cant sleep in the jungle heat and the only plus point i wasnt out in Austria to physically be present during the dullfest friendly, but caused myself pain watching it online.
G*d sort it out.

Going to be pushing 100F/38 C here next couple of days after another few days of savage heat a few weeks ago the grass has finally said fcuk it and gave up.
As for the post above most fires are accidental or nature related but some revolting humans start them deliberatly .Killing humans,animals and destroying everything in its path for fun deserves the firing squad IMO |  | | |
