A bit surprised when these best teams come up there is never a mention of Djibril Cisse who in terms of overall careers is probably the most distinguished forward ever to play for QPR. Ok I know all about the negatives. I suppose I am here talking about class.

undoubtedly there would have been more for Liverpool and a third World Cup without the two broken legs.

We had some top players . Unfortunately , most of them didnt want to be here and their attitude stunk the place out and we got relegated. Two very different eras but if we're going for Prem players than you have to go with our highest ever finish in that league, man for man just done the bizzo for QPR. I loved Faulin but he was injured most of his time. Taraabt just wasn't amongst it despite flourishes. Derry and Hill brought some self respect to our team, but apart from a couple of legendary games we didnt do much damage in the Prem.
We had some ridiculous players, who played at the very highest level, Julio Cesar, Brazils number 1 ffs. Granaro, Remy, Rio Ferdinand. All top players in their day but not for QPR Unfortunately. So theyre out of my starting XI.. :) | |

I think this would be close to my selection, but I would prefer a different goalkeeper. I'm not sure who though, perhaps Kenny or Steiskal.
As my memory is better for the 60's & 70's than for the 90's, I might have this wrong, bur wasn't Alan McDonald a little past his best by the time the Premier league started & that Darren Peacock was the man.
This might also be unfair, but surely there has to be a better option than Andy Impey. Not that I can think of one! | | | |

I liked Faurlin and thought he had a good season but he missed out. Taraabt was undoubtedly a very talented player and scored some great goals in the Premiership, but also misses out. As do Sinclair, Austin , Remy, Maddix and Penrice.
In the end, i went for the side that finished 5th in 1992/93, before Thompson went and destroyed the club by trying to bring in Marsh against Francis' wishes resulting in the latter resigning. | | | |

Cesar I could not pick. He might have been the Brazilian goalkeeper and their captain also at that time, but he showed none of that form for us and I would have put Rob Green ahead of him at that time anyhow. Dont remember Cesar playing for us at that time but wasnt going to many games for a few seasons back then.

I get where you're coming from but lets face it, the first Premier League era we flip flopped between Stejskal and Tony Roberts with a bit of Dykstra and Sommer thrown in and they were all dog shit IMO. Stejskal was ok before the Prem era but couldnt nail down the no1 spot ahead of Tony Roberts? Thats a terrible indictment on anyones CV.
Green was class in the Championship promotion season but miles off it in the Prem. The only contender is Kenny but I feel Cesar was technically the better keeper, he just had a dogshit defence infront of him. That Wigan freekick still gives me cold sweats mind. | | | |
