I'm very interested in Near Death Experiences(hell I've been an R's supporter for fifty years),and I'll be very interested what he experienced during those 70+ minutes of cardiac arrest.It's usually the same story,and I've heard it from little kids,about going into a bright light and then being greeted by lost loved ones.Knowing my luck I'll meet Ray Harford banging on about they only pay Route One up there because of the altitude.

I believe every single one of us has great sympathy for Muamba and his family, however it is the mawkish, vicarious grief that is so difficult to deal with.
While the circumstances have raised public awareness of Cardiac Arrest issues (as opposed to heart attack issues) rather than wallowing in some kind of pityfest If there was to be any end product, positive outcomes of direct support for defibrillators in public places http://epetitions.direct.gov.uk/petitions/7293, better testing of cardiac function for all youngsters (not just the talented elite) then that would be laudable.
