Sorry Norwich again...! 11:37 - Jul 3 with 1518 views00calben

Signed Jacob Butterfield from Barnsley. Very good signing IMO - in the same category as Jonny Howson, good value up-and-coming British players ready to make the step up

Can't help but think we need a centre midfielder with Alé not fully fit and Barton suspended. Sure MH has somethinb up his sleeve

From what I've seen of Butterfield (famous last words) he's like Adam Hammil who Barnsley had before - loaned out by bottom of the table Wolves last season. I've actually always quite liked Hammil but he didn't seem to cut it in the higher league.

Jonny Howson didn't exactly set the league alight after signing for Norwich in January though?

Butterfield (like Howson) seems like a solid enough signing, but i don't think either would get anywhere near our team/bench when we have Faurlin, Diakite and Barton all available.

We could do with another centre midfield body, but i'd rather Hughes look for another Diakite type for not much more money.

He must have done OK, cos I saw a thread where they were raving about him, I thought he was a player we should have gone for.

It Is What It Is !!

I think Howson did alright, there was a rumour last week about Lambert taking him to Villa.

Howson was very good for Norwich.

Interesting what you say about Hammill - I thought he was an excellent signing for Wolves at the time, maybe Butterfield is the same bracket
