Di Matteo 11:07 - May 26 with 1397 views | Hooparoo | Just left Schalke. Another potential manager we could have interviewed if we weren't so hasty. Ex-scummer but did a good job with WBA in the championship. If only we did proper interviews. [Post edited 26 May 2015 11:08]

Di Matteo on 11:46 - May 26 with 1336 views | RANGERS4EVER | This is like ordering something at a restaraunt then immediately regretting it as soon as you have chosen. What can you do? Its done now, its already been chosen, whats the point in living in regret. And maybe, if you have some hope, the meal might not turn out as badly as you expect. You might have even found a gem. What is the point of constantly regretting a decision that has been done? Is not going to change. The only way to improve the situation now is to get behind Ramsey and hope that he does well

Ramsey might taste better with sauce - or chocolate topping?

Di Matteo on 11:49 - May 26 with 1325 views | Monkey_Roots | Honestly, move on. There is no guarantee that ANY other manager would have improved our situation - this club has a disease. Players and managers that have excelled before and after being infected only prove that point. Now is the time to finally cleanse this club and start again - get behind the club and support it now instead of bashing it. Lots of people have made lots of mistakes, we either continue to analyse how shite we are in microscopic detail, or we say that day one starts right now. Besides all the above, why on earth would anyone of any worth want to come here for at this time in our clubs history? Ramsey is the manger, move on.

Dam dam dam if only we had interviewed them I say !!!!!!!!!!!!

Di Matteo on 12:50 - May 26 with 1190 views | toboboly | I honestly don't think very many of these managers that have recently been let go would come to us, and frankly, why would they? We are only going to get financially stricken managers, managers with awful reputations that can't get jobs elsewhere or managers new to the role/country who need to make a name for themselves. Alladyce, Di Matteo etc etc wouldn't come to us unless we were in the PL and looking like we were building for a semi-decent future.

Yes Dave but by using that criteria Terry Venables would never have left 1st division Crystal Palace for struggling 2nd division QPR in 1980.

Rules are different now, can't just nick a manager if you want to interview someone in a job you have to make an official approach to the club and need to be sure he's the man you want and it's a formality and that he wants the job.

I wouldn't have thought the rules/etiquete in 1980 was much different to now. If you wanted a manager and he was employed at another club you got the club's permission to speak to them. Which I'm sure Jim Gregory did

Anyone decent would come if they were allowed to be a manager.

Yet no proof that decent managers will succeed at QPR. Mark Hughes had an excellent record at smaller clubs before coming to us and, slightly annoyingly, has gone on to do so again at Stoke The problems at QPR are not limited to the manager Do you chase rainbows in your spare time? Or do you just find it easier to see the greener grass over yonder?

It's a painful fact that if you're an R's fan of many years standing(and some lying down)the grass is greener on both sides of the fence.

ha ha. Mixed metaphors. No matter how grim it is being an Rs fan, the fact is simple for me. I dont support the scum down the road. The grass is always greener in Shepherds Bush
