Neil doing it again 00:07 - Mar 9 with 3842 views | Stanisgod | Rotherham 1 Boro 0. Third straight win and stopped the goals going in , only 1 point from safety. What does he do to defences ? Love him or not , it's not luck. [Post edited 9 Mar 2016 0:08]

How is talking about an ex-manager in any way related to whether you support JFH?

Agreed. Come on Bazza. This obsession with Warnock has got to stop. It's bad enough with QPRDave, Infact, maybe YOU are QPRDave?!

I'm right behind Jimmy. Well done Neil, though. I imagine nobody is surprised by that. Let's face it, it is an interesting point. Hard to avoid thinking about it. Neil Warnock does have a helluva record for getting teams promoted. I do think if he'd have stayed, and we all know he wanted to stay, we might well have got to the playoffs. Get on a roll in this league and you're half way there. He had us on a roll, we got rid of him and promptly stopped winning. Momentum so important. So I can understand where a post like this is coming from even if I almost never criticise our managers. Apart from Harry, who was sh!t. If we did go up this year, we'd most likely be the whipping boys again next year and come straight back down anyway. And if Neil had stayed, it would have presumably been the end for Les and all of the plans he's instigated. At least now we can take a longer term approach. Hopefully. Maybe. Anyway, happy days! Ps I bloody well hope we start with Polter and Chery up front next match. [Post edited 9 Mar 2016 3:43]

Agree Neil Warnock has a great record in the Championship and football is a results game. He took over when we were a basket case, brought stability and the following season won the title. I hold my hand up and say I wanted him sacked when it happened - hindsight is a wonderful thing and he should have been given the season come what may. He came back this season and in a few short games helped us stop conceding goals and get results (7 points from 12) I felt momentum was there and lost when JFH took over Neil has done well for Rotherham and I hope with him there - they stay up As for QPR, I hope JFH and Les are given at least until next year to assess how we are progressing. I am sitting on the fence at the moment and hope we make a late run, miss the play offs, get rid of the remaining deadwood and next season storm the Championship (or at least play better football and have a younger, exciting and skillful team to watch) Cheers U R's [Post edited 9 Mar 2016 9:07]

Agree 100% there are some people on here with very short memories. If some people had ever met the man and talked to him as I had the privilege of then you would know he loved QPR as a club and the fans. He also got the best out of Taarabt for a couple of seasons which should not be forgotten, a major factor in our promotion. Good luck Neil you deserve it.
Neil doing it again on 09:10 - Mar 9 with 2264 views | WestonsuperR | Well done Neil. Don't see any harm in mentioning his success on here, he has huge links with QPR and is held in high regard by many fans including myself. Really hope he keeps them up, would be a fantastic achievement.

No. Talk about what you want. I do. But let's be honest, some of it is pure grief mongering over the fact that Warnock isn't our manager right now and some would have you believe that 4 wins for a poor Rotherham side equates to a QPR charge up the table and promotion. It isn't. [Post edited 9 Mar 2016 10:10]

I don't think I mentioned anywhere that I wished he was still our manager. Just a general football observation, it could have just as easily been about Dyche or the Boro' bloke. So there |
Fair enough. I thought it was another 'we want Warnock back' post which conveniently forgets he didn't want the job anyway.

Well said again Paul . There are some very weird & aggressive reactions to the mention of the name of our best manager most have ever seen. In fact there's an argument imo to claim he's the best in 49 yrs , when you look at where he took the club from, and the players he got us promoted with

The people who angrily shout about how we shouldn't mention old managers in Warnock are the same ones who were pining for Ramsey for months after he'd gone. Completely mental.
