That's Eric Black now cleared of any wrongdoing after a lack of evidence. They claimed the job of Sam Allardyce after him not doing much wrong and a lower league coach who took £5k. Well done, sterling effort and absolutely not a waste of time and resources.
In the meantime other newspapers were busy working on sexual abuse in football, which looks to actually be worthwhile and doesn't need sensationalising like the Telegraphs version of 'widespread corruption'.

1) Going to a bar and getting the person involved in football to drink 2) Using a woman reporter to encourage the person involved in football to start bragging 2) Offering the person involved in football a carrot of money 3) Changing the subject to looking at players
