I'm not sure the logic of this thought process holds tbh

We're very much hoping the out of the ordinary happens here. Two losses at home in a row for Forest would be far more likely than us winning there.

It is possible Forest will lose two consecutive home games but less probable that they will fail to score at home in successive home games. It is hard to imagine Forest not scoring against us whilst we are in a run of conceding at least two per game. Not only have the clean sheets and wins dried up, but we have reverted to type by conceding goals today either side of half time which we specialised in last season and at the start of this.

The icing on today's cake is that we re-established our charitable nature by gifting Leeds their first penalty in 59 games. It is always guaranteed that if another club has an unwanted long record they want to shake off we will assist in any way we can.

Clive pointed out in the Leeds preview that we don't like playing in December where wins are minimal so playing away to Forest in the same month is not a good omen. I would have agreed with Clive that it is not desirable to sit in the audience of Question Time but now Fiona Bruce is to be the new host I might have to now disagree with that analogy...

Before Forest we have Boro who have gone off the boil, but just recently another club we can't seem to beat. Who remembers the abysmal 5-1 home defeat a few years ago to them? That was played in December. I wasn't at all surprised we lost to Hull as we have only won once on the first Saturday in December in the past decade.

Some things just never change at QPR!
