Anyone been to all these now defunct football grounds? 13:56 - Oct 18 with 8738 viewsR_from_afar

I don't go to many away games - lightweight - but was surprised to find that I have actually been to five of them.

I'm impressed by The Old Showground's collapsible floodlights!

"Things had started becoming increasingly desperate at Loftus Road but QPR have been handed a massive lifeline and the place has absolutely erupted. it's carnage. It's bedlam. It's 1-1."

11 for me,including feethams in Darlington.
I used to go there for their reserve games occasionally on a Monday night. One game George Reynolds turned up and created a fuss because somebody had parked in his own personal parking space.
He wanted the steward sacked and probably all his family locked up too.He was a real w@nker.
And Upton Park And White Hart Lane makes it 13.

I’ve done those three too, on top of the 10 from the article. No White City?!

They could have included Somerton Park, Newport amongst others. Also Wycombe's old ground never saw league football.

Only 3, Filbert Street, Old Wembley and the scene of my first QPR match and thumping 3-0 defeat - Plough Lane.

Been to most f them. I liked Shrewsbury's old ground, more like a cricket ground than a football ground.
