I might be going 'stir crazy' but I'm sure it was against Leicester one evening when a squirrel came onto the pitch in an effort to bolster our midfield and the referee held up proceedings until the squirrel decided to leave the field of play and f uck off.

It was against Leicester but in the championship. Lost 1-0 and barton got sent off
The squirrel’s debut was home to Everton, March 2012. Midway through the 2nd half the Rs defend an Everton corner at the School End but no one in the Loft, nor most of the SA Road, or Ellerslie are bothered with that. Everyone’s focused on the squirrel who has just made a burst from the half way line down the left channel to just outside the penalty box in front of the Loft. Squirrel, noticing Tim Howard is unsighted, then progresses in stop start instalments until it bombs into the back of the net triggering wild applause. The two sets of players down the other end seem a little miffed that over half the ground aren’t paying them any attention.
According to Harry Redknapp’s autobiography I’m Just A Loveable Slaag by 2014 the Squirrel has become well known to the players as Armand Traore’s agent. The incident against Leicester being a dispute over monies unpaid.

I tell you what (copyright Mark 'Lawro' Lawrenson) that was a cracker of a game.
1-0 down, 2-1 up, 2-2 but win 3-2, great atmosphere, jumpers in the park. Lovely.
But I would not swap what we have now for that shower of $hit - Redknapp, Barton, Traore, Fer, Krancjar....
Good God, they were a spineless, selfish bunch of wasters.
Compare it to what we have now - passion, great football, great coaching, youth, desire and honesty.
Mwah! Love my team.
Brian, I am always confused when people slag off the team we currently have given some of the absolute wastemen we tolerated in the not so distant past

We were bossing it and the division until that squirrel paused play. After the restart Leicester won the game, the Championship and the Premier League. Makes you think.

God, I hate some of our players
Green Isla Ned Caulker Traore Barton Henry Vargas Fer Krancjar Austin
Already had my moan on the Liverpool stream but yes I thoroughly object to any of the Hughes and Redknapp years being fed back to us as part of our banter history. Damnatio memoriae. I want to see something that makes me feel good about my club not just any win by any cnts wearing any hoops in any crest.

My favourite part was when Yun first got injured for us and the commentator (who knew us intimately) mused that Redknapp had good defensive options on the bench...and could bring on...King...or Moore...

Gosh I'd forgotten how bad we were in terms of players you really want to get behind. Completely agree with Mick, don't get why people moan so much about our current team. Soooo much more likeable and prefer watching them too.
Was still groaning even on playback every time Barton went to take the freekick, corner etc knowing he was going to mess it up. And he didn't disappoint!

And avoid all the times they beat us, including the 4-0 and 5-1 defeats at the Duty Free (formerly Crisp) Bowl as I still cant erase those horror shows from my memory

When the squirrel ran on the pitch in 2012 against Everton (as mentioned above) we were bottom 3 with 2 home wins out of 15. Post-Squirrel we won the next remaining 5 home games (Liverpool, Arsenal, Swansea, Spurs, and Stoke), and stayed up. The squirrel giveth and the squirrel taketh away.
