I find it interesting that this has not yet been discussed. Given the change of manager there tends to be an expectation that the team will be tinkered with from the outset. Will that happen. At least one change from the last game has to be made with Sir Henry of the back pass omitted. Will we see youth, two up front, wingers? Where will Chery play? I'm not even going to have a brave guess at any of this (except for Smithies in goal) and that should make it all that much more fun. There really should be a prize for the person who can pick the first Ollie team!

This looks about right to me, perhaps Wszołek instead of Ngbakoto?
I'm definitely keen to see Cousins given a run in the side at CM.
EDIT: Re Chery, I'd not be surprised at all to see him struggle to get in the team. He just seems to be one of those problem players that are obviously talented, but without a clear position. [Post edited 18 Nov 2016 14:40]

Just catching up and found this thread. Intersting that nobody, including me, had any idea the 3 at the back with wing backs was to be the line up. Didn't last long though due to the early red. Hall in the mid and 442 after a note was handed to Ñed..
What will he do away next week? If Robinson is still injured, will he risk Hamalaînen as lwb or will he go 4231, 442, 4141? He was very pleased with Lynch, so I would go with 4231 with full backs pushed up. | | | |
