That’s a lot of games in a short period of time.Why can’t we wait until March or April to play it?We only have a smallish squad now and that will result in tired players who are more prone to injuries,some of who are just returning from various injuries. I’m not working that night,but it would be good for everyone to have a break.

I think that you have to re-arrange a postponed match for the first available date. As there will be no replay in the Watford game, this date became an almost certainty when we won last night.
This is definitely the rules in the top non-leagues, so I would imagine it also applies in the EFl (probably copied from the EFL).
The West Brom match is on the first available date due to the FA taking too long to confirm the date for the Portsmouth away game!
At home to Stoke will be moved to the 19th March as we will be playing in the 6th round on the original date!

Said this on another thread - people on here banging on about how important it is for the club to take the cups seriously and now we're moaning about fixtures being moved and there being too many of them!

That was my first thought.
Checking through the rest of the fixtures seems there are only two weeks of weekdays free prior to penultimate game and if Watford goes to replay WBA will be moved to one of those.
Get past that and think Stoke game would go and that'd fill the remaining week available.
The madness is there's 2 weeks without a game thanks to Internationals.

Checking through the rest of the fixtures seems there are only two weeks of weekdays free prior to penultimate game and if Watford goes to replay WBA will be moved to one of those.
Get past that and think Stoke game would go and that'd fill the remaining week available.

The Watford game can't go to a replay.
They don't apply from the 5th round onwards. It would be extra time & penalties if required.
