Lynch.
Playing out from the back with split centrebacks.
Short corners.
Lynch.
An offside trap that relies on a 78 year old full back getting up in time.
Surrendering initiative at home, especially to teams that need a flashlight and a map in order to find their arses with both hands.
Lynch.

'What do we want? We don't know! When do we want it? Now!'

How is Lynch starting ahead of Leistner?

Why is Leistner on the bench in the first place??

According to Leistner it is not footballing matters.

What does that mean?

The offside thing is mind bending. We've been doing it all season, look at the highlights of Hull at home - defence stepping out, Rangel staying in. Look at the second goal at Stoke.

All this talk about what a good coach McClaren is, how much work we do on the training ground, we can't drill a back four to play an offside trap correctly.

Don't know what is meant by it but Liestner said it.

That's intriguing then...personal/family issues?

If it's something along those lines, then shouldn't he be missing football completely rather than being on the bench?

I think it is financial/contract, if he starts then it triggers something.

That would be completely mental if true. We are now in a situation where literally one point could easily keep us up. False economy not to put out our best side and pay Leistner whatever extra he might be due.

That's what I assumed, but that would be a footballing matter in my book!

I think he means it is not to do with how he is playing or training. But credit to him, because when he does come on he gives his all.

I really don’t think Lynch does give his all. I’m pretty sure he could try harder.

If we still had Luke Young then I'd probably play him centre back. Fck me Bob Malcolm, Zesh Rehman, Karl Ready - anyone except Joel fcking Lynch. If Lynch does start tomorrow night then I give up.

(Apart from the Swansea game which I have a ticket for. And oh OK probably next season regardless of which division we're in).
