Hugill's double seals second away win in Sheffield - Report
It makes one wonder if there isn't an agenda here. Against Pompey, the ref was about to blow his whistle as Marquis turned and the shrill tones were echoing around KPFS before he hit the ground. Another soft one given at Wednesday and I am suspicious.
Excellent report BTW.

An historic report to commemorate an historic event. This should definitely be the opening chapter in the Clive Whittingham "Match Day Reports" coffee table book, available from all good outlets.
Vintage QPR performance lands them in Hull hell - Report
A good and accurate summary of the game. The narrow defending has been a bug bear of mine for most of the season as it always makes us look vulnerable from the sidelines. Around 10-15 minutes before Cameron went off he had swapped places with Luongo which effectively nullified both players skill sets, I can only guess that Cameron was flagging/ injured from chasing Hull players around and Massimo's stamina and better pace was required there. BOS should have been on for Wells after 50-55 minutes with Eze pushed forward and Freeman operating behind IMO. I would have also left Darnell on the bench as I feel that bringing him on at 1-3 may have exposed his defensive frailties and he could have ended up being the scapegoat for what turned out to be a defeat anyway. If fit, start him against Leeds and have Angel on the bench if needed.

I have shared this (with full credits) on the FB Championship group to try and get it out there. I was aware of the subject matter from around the time the various category schemes were rolled out and felt the same way as the author about it's desired outcome, in much the same way as I soon worked out who FFP was designed to benefit when it was launched. A well written and provocative article, well done!
A new BFG eases QPR's centre back issues - Signing
I love the idea of calling him the Chiropractor, not many fans will know where the monicker came from and the sound of someone who can rearrange bones has a certain ring about it. It's similar to Valentino Rossi being called The Doctor and not many people know why.
End of Term Report 17/18 - Defenders
A well observed, and accurate appraisal, of the personnel. A look back will show that I was always a big Onuoha fan and I feel that he will be some very hard boots to fill in the future, both on and off field. I was mostly pro Perch for the positive reasons you gave, especially at LB but he just wasn't popular with the fans and maybe that affected him? who knows?
Steven Caulker; a definite what could have been, Judging by this snippet from the Dundee forum, he may be getting over the demons that beset him whilst in London. On the odd rare occasions that he got his act together for both the first team and the U23's he looked a class act. Maybe one the football will be more important to him than the money as he does have a talent.

I wonder if toxic Pete's dad was the one responsible for Mepham leaving QPR? The irony would be almost unbearable. Nice report too Clive.
Lightning QPR start floors Sheff Wed - Report
An excellent report and pretty much how I viewed it from the upper Loft with the exception of Jack Robinson's rating; There were so many cool interceptions, changes of direction under pressure and insightful balls played out of defence by him that I had down for MOTM. Maybe it is down to where the game is watched from, I don't know.

Excellent article and I am glad for one that Chief is getting the praise I have felt along that he deserves. It was less than a fortnight ago I was pilloried for sticking up for him and asked if I was his mum. It will be a very sad day for QPR when Nedum leaves and, if it is to be this season, I would like to see him in the Forever R's club BEFORE he goes. He is one of the few I would love to see back at the club in some capacity once his playing days are over, even if it is only as club ambassador, a role which he has made his own whilst a player.
