QPR hit for six as relegation is confirmed - report
at 10:01:18

On the money as usual Clive. I have to say I'm not convinced about Ramsey going forwards, he seems prone to making some truly dumb decisions but I doubt anyone else will want the job. Transfer embargo and huge FFP fine here we come. Les Ferdinand - great player but I don't see any evidence whatsoever that he has the credentials to be effective in his current role. We need management that know the lower leagues inside out and can persuade up and coming young lads to move to us from smaller clubs for a pay rise. However, if we get a transfer embargo then we're really in the shi* - we'll be playing our current youth side in the Championship and we'll get flogged. Next year is very worrying.

Ways to lose away games, number 11 in the series - report
at 06:39:00

We all know we were lucky not to lose by 1 or 2 more goals and we would have deserved it. Overall a pretty woeful performance. The 2 things that are really getting on my nerves watching Rangers at the moment are a) as AussieRs says, every other side works harder than us and b) our passing is not up to PL standard in a million years, which leaves us defending most of the time. Given our back line currently, this is not a recipe for winning games. Unless we can improve the quality of our passing significantly, allowing us to retain possession for decent periods of matches, then we will go down. One of our problems in this game was that both Dunne and Caulker were poor and Clint had a shocker. Both CBs have played quite well up to now, although personally I'd prefer Ned to be playing to Dunne. If Caulker goes off the boil for the next few games then we will be in serious trouble.

Rangers rescued by Austin's powerful treble - report
at 00:39:23

Obviously Charlie did a great job again but we are seriously over-reliant on him. If he gets injured we are in the poo big time, I think we all remember what happened last season when he was out for a few weeks. 'Arry knows he must get hold of another striker in Jan, and preferably someone a little bit better than the useless guy West Brom had up front for most of the game (Brown) but we also need to start getting more goals from some of the other lads.

Sublime Kranjcar ensures unhappy return for Hughes — report
at 02:44:48

We need to improve quickly. I agree with the posters who have said that they are struggling to see 3 poorer teams than us based on the matches so far. It's obviously still early days. Perhaps Burnley, Newcastle and Sunderland? Whatever way you look at it we seem absolute certainties for the bottom 5 unless we can start playing much better football than we are currently. I'd like to think we could go to Southampton and get a point but you look at their results so far and ours and we are much more likely to get thumped. West Ham away we could get something if everyone gives 100% and fights for a result, Liverpool - hmm. Good in some ways to see them lose at West Ham but you would think Sterling is bound to score at LR. Let's hope Sandro is fit for Saturday with Mutch & Barton rushed back too soon so now likely to be out for at least 2 weeks you would think.

QPR the perfect party guests once more — report
at 00:38:15

I agree with everything you say Clive, it was the manner of the defeat more than the scoreline. If we don't press sides in this league and work hard when we don't have the ball then we are going to get repeatedly beaten away from home. It's not rocket science! Only point I'd add is that I thought both Hoilett and Phillips were really poor and looked to me rather worringly as if they are not PL standard players (given we are short of alternatives). We needed both of them to hold the ball up and help us retain possession but instead they were either tackled or passed to an oppo player every single time. I'm not singling them out because we were collectively poor but their poor performances were key in that we could not get out of our half for most of the time. As much as I think Traore is a liability defensively, he showed the 2 wingers what could be done if you run at the oppo with the ball in a quick and determined fashion. We should start Vargas in one of the forward roles on Saturday and then bring Zamora on for either him or Charlie 2nd half if/when they are knackered. The Stoke game is important now, we need to get back on track but we all know it will be an awkward match.

A bit about who Man Utd, Van Gaal and Falcao are playing this weekend — preview
at 07:33:29

I agree with Burnleyhoop, if we play Hill at LB we will get murdered. We may do anyway but let's at least give ourselves a chance with players at the back who can run. Yun at LB for me if he's fit. Fer, Much & Sandro the middle three, it's time for Joey to have a rest. And let's get some decent service to Austin and Vargas (if he starts).

A horribly familiar sinking feeling — report
at 00:21:09

Great report as always Clive. I thought it was Fer who lost Dier for the near post header but regardless it was a truly woeful performance, one of the worst I can recall seeing from any QPR side in my lifetime (I'm 47!). As you say it was straight out of 2 years ago and most of them need a good smack around the head and told to pull their finger out. There were so many shocking efforts (or lack of it) from our players that it's almost pointless talking about individual people. The effort levels need to go up by 100% minimum and what's worrying is the fitness levels, as you rightly point out. If they aren't fit enough then we've got a huge problem.

'Arry's judgement in persisting in starting with Dunne in a back 3 at this level is very worrying - I would say that 95% of our fanbase could have told him that to do so away to Spurs would be total madness but a guy who is paid a very large sum of money to make these decisions couldn't see it would be a problem. It's seriously scary stuff.
