Three is the cursed number as QPR fall in a hole at Hull - Report
at 20:46:35

The season is just a few games too long. After an excellent Easter period, the Marti miracle of getting wins from this team has come to an abrupt end. The gulf in class against Hull was clearly evident but how we are not already long relegated. A dodgy keeper with slow reactions and unable to deal with crosses, and strikers incapable of scoring, Marti has done as much as he possibly can here. We’re definitely down and I thought that after the Wednesday game and we won’t get another point this season. Great match report by the way, thanks.

The season of evil begins with the birth of a new year – Report
at 20:00:34

The years of sheer incompetent management at the top have been leading to this, we should have gone down last season. Ainsworth was a disastrous appointment and we have so many injury prone and ill disciplined players. It will take years to recover but we just need to trust Marti and accept the relegation and the re-building of the club. He’s making plenty of mistakes with his tactics and substitutions and set-plays are woeful, but let’s be honest, if he was a quality manager he wouldn’t be with us. He needs time and patience and we just have to accept the situation, it will get a lot worse before it gets better!

Brace for impact, QPR crash at Millwall - Report
at 10:01:03

That was torture and having the defence looking quite tight and organised against Southampton; we we were just awful. At the very least you expect a team to be committed and playing with pride, especially in a London derby. Our set piece play is just woeful and no improvement under the new manager, our short corner routines just embarrassing! Surely in the winnable games you play your best team, and rest the players and use the squad for the harder games such as Ipswich away. The squad needs such an overhaul and hard to see us avoiding relegation. In the immediate short term we just desperately need a striker with a few goals in him to give us some hope and either a loanee or a bargain from the lower divisions. Anyway, Happy New Year to all you all.

Anatomy of a fall – Report
at 21:12:03

One point out of six when it could’ve been six, the reason we’ll go down. We invited them to come at us sitting so deep, a Wednesday winner felt inevitable! Gut wrenching stuff, the only consolation with relegation would be a good clear out, but seems the right manager to get us back in the Championship.

QPR's latest act of stupidity brings curtain down on Ainsworth reign - Report
at 20:11:39

What a relief, a great player but an awful manager. So out of his depth and had become a complete disaster. No real plan or tactics and some players just not performing. He should have gone before the international break. Even Warnock will struggle to get this lot performing but seems a sensible appointment until the end of the season if it happens. The club are so badly run and needs a good clear out from the top, far too many incompetent clowns stealing a wage for complete failure.

Each goal more farcical and easier to score than the last - Report
at 21:33:56

If Ainsworth had any ounce of decency he would have resigned, he should have been fired immediately after the game. It was an unprofessional performance from a manager hopelessly out of his depth. Thankfully I don’t have a season ticket and won’t be attending any further games this season until a change in manager, I can’t afford to be wasting money watching this shambles under a complete joke of a manager. If we stick with him it’s a long and very painful season and he we will see results and performances far worse than this one.

Things turn toxic as hapless QPR lose yet again - Report
at 09:03:47

I thought it couldn’t get any worse after Critchley but totally proven wrong, it’s almost like the players see Ainsworth as a novelty appointment. It’s the worst I can ever remember from a team and a hopelessly out of his depth manager. There are no tactics apart from hoff it up to Dykes, no shape or style of play, no defending, no nothing, most non league sides would be better organised. Relegation is a certainty and a Wimbledon style long ball neck ache tedious football for next season. Just like Ferdinand as DOF, Ainsworth is another one I just wished had stayed well clear of the club, an absolute disaster of an appointment!

A horrible new low — Report
at 22:54:41

No mention of a refund for the poor fans that went to see a complete disgrace of a performance, I hope the players are quite rightly ashamed of themselves. We’ve had stuffings before but this must be the worst yet. I won’t go again this season as spending hard earned money to watch this bunch of spineless losers is sheer stupidity. We could see a few more defeats of this nature, the players have no pride, fight, desire, and just so completely unorganised. It will get worse before it gets better, but just how much worse can it get and how can Ferdinand not just feel utter shame and not do the decent act and resign. Says a lot about his character that he just keeps taking the money for helping create such a shambles of a football club.

Something about a massacre on February 14 - Report
at 10:49:54

Lost for words, simply atrocious, but that’s me done for the season, I won’t return until changes at the top, Ferdinand has to surely do the honourable thing and resign, a huge failure as DOF. I just refuse to waste any more money. I’ll stick with my local non league club that actually look much more organised in defence and great to see motivated players despite earning peanuts.

Millwall deliver more pain, and a cautionary tale to woeful QPR - Report
at 22:28:46

Unable to muster any optimism as you can just tell the players aren’t set up correctly with any real shape or plan and know they are beaten before the games has even started. It’s just completely unprofessional that subs are not warming up and half fit players coming on and an absolute joker of a manager not fit to manage a non league club. Just how bad does it have to get before the board decide enough is enough and at least look at a short term appointment like Warnock to at least get a few points between now and end of season.

I hitched a ride with a vending machine repairman — Report
at 21:18:03

Absolutely bloody awful and no light at the end of the tunnel, a manager who is completely useless and a team where half have lost all confidence and the other half just don’t give a toss. No honeymoon period for Critchley, just needs to somehow gain enough points to avoid falling through the trapdoor into league one. Perhaps relegation might be a blessing in disguise for a good clear out from the boardroom down. All I want is a team that are organised and committed and care about the club, is that too much to ask for?

Fleetwood cack — Report
at 21:52:00

A great match report and very worrying times, unprofessional at times and the defeat was quite predictable. I even turned down a lift and a ticket as a mate dropped out due to illness, but just couldn’t face going. Its going to get worse before it hopefully gets better but the club feels stale with no vision and only changes at board level are really going to improve matters. Critchley should have waited for better offers and must regret taking the role. The fans deserve much better than this, just how much worse can it get?

Luton humbling highlights scale of Critchley’s task — Report
at 19:48:07

Quite depressing to watch and I’ve already got a bad feeling about Critchley, he just sounded stupid with his post match comments. It was men against boys, a well organised and motivated team against a complete shambles, wrong team, tactics, and completely uninterested. I left with 15 minutes still to play and unlikely to return again soon. It’s crying out for changes at the top, if Ferdinand really loves the club, have the decency to resign. We’re making no progress and clubs like Luton on smaller budgets look light years ahead of us. Critchley has a McLaren feel about him, too soon to judge, but gut feeling he’s the wrong man for the job, and Luton got the man we needed!

Savage amusement - Report
at 21:46:16

A great match report and such a frustrating game to watch but we’ve hit a bad spell and even before the game I had a bad feeling. The Beale honeymoon period seems over and bringing in another striker in the transfer window should have been a priority. Huddersfield were lucky but a few games lately we’ve been off the pace and our attacking full backs have been nullified as other managers have worked out how to snuff out our attacking threat. Unfortunately supporting the club a long time means I’m a natural pessimist but I see us losing as many games as we win this season and mid table beckons. At least Beale shouldn’t have any delusions of grandeur now, I hope he hasn’t been found out and has more to offer as he talks a good game, but whether we make any progress this season?

Josh Bowler, stop me if you’ve heard this one before, QPR, etc. — Report
at 09:19:54

A frustrating game and unfortunately a score line we will need to get used to. We desperately need a goal scorer as Dykes just lacks that natural anticipation and composure. Armstrong certainly has potential but early days. A novice manager and how well he will cope under pressure, the board must have been totally honest about the state of the club’s finances which is how Ferdinand is being judged by the board. As for what happens on the pitch, it’s hard to see any progress on last season and mid table would be more realistic if we can bring in a goal scorer.

Paint by numbers - Report

A perfectly good goal ruled out, and once that happened, you just knew it wasn’t going to be our night, all quite soul destroying at times but I’ve supported the club long enough to expect the worst! The whole season will likely fizzle out now, we look so vulnerable in defence and key players like Austin and Johansen just don’t seem with it at the moment. Warburton needs to try and shake things up, perhaps an addition to the coaching staff to focus on our defensive vulnerabilities. I would ditch Gray and bring Bonne back, nothing to lose and give some of the youngsters more game time.

Oh, Siriki Dembele - Report
at 18:54:13

I feel like a jinx but attended 5 games this season and not seen them win yet. The Fulham game hurt the most, but at least they’re a good side. This was a very poor result but you can’t say it hasn’t been coming and mid table looking our likely finish to the season. The worst scenario would be we scrape through the playoffs to the so called promised land which would be a disaster. If Norwich’s start to the season looks bad, imagine us getting hammered each game and the likes of Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool getting into double figures, it would be torture. Warburton just wouldn’t have the tactical nous and it would be demoralising. The championship is fine for now and a good cup run, let’s be realistic about the squad and the manager, we’re just not equipped for the premier league.

Rangers run ragged by rampant Tykes — Report
at 21:14:07

Barnsley were far too fit, strong and imaginative for us, but we still could have got something out of this game. We didn’t take our chances and seem to think that if we just keep playing Dykes, bereft of confidence, he will miraculously start banging the goals in. Without the loanees we would be relegated this season, and I can only envy the likes of Barnsley. A young vibrant team under a manager clearly destined to manage at a higher level. We will struggle again next season and just don’t see how we are progressing as a club. It will similar next season, another batch of loan players to feel the gaps due to poor recruitment and we might not get away with it and fall through the trap door into division one.

Resurgent Rangers finally have their Field day — Report
at 22:44:24

Definitely the most enjoyable game this season, and the loanees have given us vital quality. Without them, I couldn’t see us staying up. Austin has been a revelation and I would love to see him stay, what a difference a proven goal scorer makes and the positive influence he has on others (except Dykes unfortunately). Definitely an arrogance and superiority complex about Brentford, but our second half performance was terrific and they were taught a lesson. Willock is going to be a great player for us, has a real look of quality about him.

Ongoing home woes stall Rangers' recent progress - Report
at 21:18:09

Bloody frustrating and we need to be winning these types of games to have a chance of avoiding relegation. Rooney made the tactical change and it worked a treat, by taking A defender off and putting an extra midfielder on, how often does a Warburton tactical change or substitution have the desired effect. We were really poor first half, very sloppy, and Hamalainen is looking a weak link, although Kane not much better. Desperately need a left back loanee of experience otherwise our left flank will be constantly targeted. We certainly miss Mannings contribution going forward, we do look so much poorer to last season.
