Morgan isn't a CM, not good enough in there, but he could be a really good RB. His best performances have been playing RB this season - pace, passing etc.
CM today is dog shyte and its the biggest fck up by Nourry this season and it was done on purpose. |

Yep, we can't have it both ways. Only real surprise for me is RND not back in at LB as we do look unbalanced without a natural left footer there.
Morrison and Kolli left out entirely.
JS maybe looking for a strong finish with the subs bench. |

This is a feisty thread! Just read that Matt Winton piece, what a load of selected bollox.
I'm really supportive of some of things Nourry has done, others I'm not.
Changes always happen in a work place, but it is how the management handle it that shows what they are like as people.
Our club has shown a complete lack of class regarding Furs and it isn't the first time they've behaved like this.
I hope Nourry and others remember to be nice to others on their way up as hopefully those people will be nice to them on their way back down.

Spot on regarding the Mbengue/Dunne switch. The team looks much better balanced, and it seems to allow Dembele a bit more freedom to go inside with Mbengue provided a much needed pacey overlapping.

That's exactly what I was saying.
I'll criticise Field as a CM as he can't pass, but as a LB, no one should knock him. He is doing his best in difficult circumstances due to the shortcomings above him regarding recruitment.
Agree about the FBs being weak, but Dunne being moved inside has helped balance the team now. |

Much improved performances the past couple of games after some absolute stinkers. He looks physically bigger in the upper body to me, and is definitely harder to knock off the ball.
Maybe having a more mobile RB is helping as well.
Hats off to him.

Blackburn were fcking awful and we actually went for the win and got it.
Great gritty performance from the whole team, but I thought Varane was outstanding, my MotM. Special mention to Smyth, he must be horrible to play against. |

That season did break me. I didn't go the following year, I couldn't face Ainswotth ball.

The club can't make an announcement about Furs leaving if it hasn't been finalised between the two parties.
It's been leaked by someone, but the article only says it's been agreed he would leave. There is lots of legal stuff to do before it can be publicly announced.
I'm not going to hold that against the club as their hands are tied on this. |
