Of course they did Boston, we lost but 'what a day'. On the pitch celebrating then the drive back home to the local pub to continue with the joy of staying in the Premier......the old saying 'supporters have short memories'!!!

The pressures on the Spurs players were massive, proper massive & not just from a footballing point of view.....fair play to them for winning like they did. Everton could not cope with Spurs intensity. I would have celebrated like they did as well if I was in their position in front of 60,000 screaming fans.

Motion versus progress – Analysis
at 20:43 24 May 2026

I am far too old to get into all this stuff. XG/XGA, etc,etc....my simplistic view is the following.

1 - The teams in the league this season were pretty average apart from the obvious 1, 2 or 3 of them.
2 - The Manager (or whoever it was) made some 'proper' wrong decisions throughout the season on the footballing side, before, during and after matches. These errors cost us dearly.
3 - We had a better team overall than in previous seasons and we should have finished, 100%, far higher in the league than we did. Injuries were a major factor in the amount of points we lost.

It may not of mattered to you but it certainly did me........maybe it didnt matter with league positions, on this occasion, but what if it was in a play-off game or a 6th place game perhaps it would be very different.

VAR is for me, if not you.

Last season VAR would have given QPR a penalty and sent off the WBA defender (Furlong) for handball on the line preventing us scoring. This season VAR would have stopped the penalty given to Swansea for a foul outside of the box.

I'm sure there are many more incidents whereby VAR would have done the job......which refs failed to do.

It was a foul on the Arsenal keeper and VAR got it right.

He has also got his name on his own locker Hunter.....very important.

When I got moved from Ruislip Manor reserves to the first team I got a little space in the corner of the little changing room and waited for a shower until the elders had finished but I was happy

Spot on........some of the stuff that goes on during the game on the pitch by the players are a lot worse. Top of the bill is 'feigning injuries/pretending to be injured' (absolutely pathetic!!) & some of the refereeing rules & practises.

I don't know, I was just told like I said 'broken ankle'........I knew he would not be playing until at least near the end of the season with an injury like that but it turns out it was even longer, perhaps he had further issues.

I have also read that there may be further not footballing matters outstanding!!!

Well, you must hope the R's don't get promotion next season on any season otherwise you are going to be pretty bored on Saturdays/Sundays or Mondays!!!!

I won't because I will be there despite not being a fan of it but I, also, like it - sort that one out!!!!

Come off it Numpty......so if Rangers make it to the Premiership or VAR goes down to the Championship & you will not attend. Do not believe you!!!

As for getting half the VAR decision wrong......not true.

The stuff that goes on at corners are unbelievable and the FA are going to need to do something about it......this happens is every football match that is played professionally.

I never saw the incident in real time but VAR got the right result (again!!).

Yes, of course, we still need him.....there are many more to get rid before Chair needs to be replaced. Good Club Man and a asset on the pitch.

Club confirm Hamer, Nardi, Hayden departs...
at 14:06 6 May 2026

1 - Nardi, I did not see loads of grief aimed his way last season and imho is no worse than Walsh.
2 - Hayden, as I said in another post, he was 'bang average' last season but many wanted the Club to resign him, they got their way but was pretty poor this season and a very poor signing indeed. Re his wages, it would not, or I have never seen it before, seen players boasting, or even talking about what they are earning so it would not be an issue.
3 - Hamer, strange signing considering his age, etc, etc.......sign him for a month if we were struggling with injuries but to keep him for so long is a waste of money and not following our principles within the Club re 'Development'.

No issues with any of the departures.

All this nonsense about a pretty average player, he is not good enough basically and why he is not a regular starter. As I understand it he, or someone associated with him is a real problem.

Get rid, move on, no issues.

Poor signing in the first place, done a basic job in the first year but was raved how good he was - he was just OK. Resigned, when he should never have been, but applauded and wanted by many on this very MB. However, this season he has been pretty poor but we had no option but to keep him and send Field out on loan. Poor play from most people/posters.
