The same time we had 3 games in a week so did Coventry.
We lost 2 they won all 3.

Remember that I was there.
Snowed all the way on the coach.
The locals refused to let us into the club at the ground we were freezing.
Daphne got a few of the lads tickets for the stand but the rest of us were on the open terrace.
The local nutters came looking for a fight.
Mick Leach scored in the first minute but it went downhill after that.
The players could barely stand up.
Terrible mistake filled game.

WEVE GOT A TEAM.
Today was the first time in years that I felt we had a cohesive unit that wanted to play for the manager, each other and the fans..
If there is a weak link I'm sorry to say its Jimmy Dunne
short of pace and caught out of position many times
But Saito Kone and Burrell are a formidable strike force that will terrorise this league.
I am so happy and proud to be an Rs fan today after years of dross.
Vale is the real article the transition from midfield to attack is what we have been missing for season after season.
So glad he scored his performance deserved it .
What a quality finish .
I thought Stoke had a lot of possession but we defended so well asa unit. A few scares near the end
I haven't stopped smiling yet.
I've had so many miserable train journeys home over the years

OMG.
I remember that day.
The snow had been falling all week ,the pitch was very icy. Most of the players on both teams had trouble standing up
But Frank Worthington was magnicent his first goal was a blockbuster from 30yds , he then went on to score twice more in a 3-1 win. |

We lost every away game that
season.
I went to most of them.
Missed Old Trafford luckily because we lost 8-1.
I think we only won 3 home games . |

This was the best one.
When Luton banned away fans.
A Luton fan that i worked with had to go a wedding so gave me him and his sons ticket.
It was in the home end .m
The Luton players kicked balls into the stand to thank their supporters.
I caught one and gave it to my son, all the fans around me cheered and said well done.
I smiled inwardly then had to sit on my hands when Rangers scored in the second half |

Thousands of Rs fans on the big open bank looking over the Thames.and behind the goal.
Great game Rs behind with few minutes to go Marsh scoed 2 ina 3-2 win.
Thats how i remember it.
