Clegg Happy With Season Ticket Total Friday, 20th May 2011 09:18 by TWTD.co.uk Town chief executive Simon Clegg has revealed that the Blues sold just over 13,000 season tickets for 2011/12 at the reduced early bird price. That’s down around 5% at the same stage last season with the total eventually reaching 14,300. Clegg says he’s pleased with the total given the circumstances: “I would like to thank those fans who have purchased season tickets for next season. “While we are obviously disappointed with a slight drop in take up of season tickets, it is perfectly understandable given the current economic climate. “We also have to accept that we have had a number of disappointing seasons over recent years. “Hopefully, next year we will be pushing for a top six place. That’s the target of the owner, the manager and myself.” Town’s season ticket prices rose by around 6%, the first increase for five years.
