Hull Confirm Bullard Suspension Friday, 22nd Jul 2011 13:58 by TWTD.co.uk Hull City have confirmed that they have suspended former Town loanee Jimmy Bullard in a terse statement released this afternoon. News of the two-week suspension, which is believed to relate to a disciplinary issue on the club’s pre-season trip to Slovenia, first broke on Wednesday evening.
The Tigers statement reads: “Hull City AFC can confirm that Jimmy Bullard has been suspended pending an enquiry into recent events.
“The club will be completing the investigation before making any further comment.”
Hull are desperate to offload the 32-year-old's £45,000-a-week contract which has two years to run and which makes up 21% of their wage bill.
Both Town and QPR have been unable to agree terms with the Tigers for the one-time England call-up this summer. Story syndicated from TWTD.co.uk Photo: Action Images Please report offensive, libellous or inappropriate posts by using the links provided.
