Sneak preview of Tranmere programme Tuesday, 20th Mar 2012 05:34 by Col Rochdale AFC’s matchday programme – The Voice of Spotland – is back for Tuesday’s League One match against Tranmere Rovers. The programme has been maintained at 76 pages this season, but with a host of new features to keep you entertained before, during and after the match. We start with a front cover image of Saturday’s hat-trick hero Michael Symes, whose first goals for the club clinched the dramatic 3-2 win over Oldham. Manager John Coleman reflects on that game against The Latics, while the new style Dale Quiz will seriously test fans’ grey matter. We have action photos from the games against Scunthorpe and Bournemouth, while Lost Grounds looks at the former ground of a club no longer in the Football League. Travellers Tales reports on the trip to Colchester, while On This Day recalls the win that mathematically clinched Dale’s promotion two years ago. Scrutator analyses the effect certain players might have in the dressing room and on squad morale and Starter for Ten looks at some unusual reasons for postponing matches. Visitors Tranmere Rovers get eight pages of coverage, in which we reveal a past link between one of their players and a member of the Dale squad. All this and much, much more will be in Tuesday’s The Voice of Spotland, on sale in the Club Shop and around the ground, priced £3.00.
