Is NA leaving us? I think NC is ruthless enough to fo it !

Is NA leaving us? Rumour in The People today. Wouldn't usually believe anything that comes from that source, but I was struck by one interview with NA immediately after we gained promotion. He talked about his career at Southampton coming to an end one day and how 'when the time comes' he hopes 'it will be done properly.' I thought at the time this was a bizarre thing to be talking about. NC is certainly ruthless. What happened to the previous manager - I can't remember his name but he laid the foundations for everything we have achieved. Wonder what

I cannot believe I am seeing comments about NA possibly going. Why on earth we would we lose the manager that has given us back to back promotions, has a tremendous long term future ahead of him and can give us the stability, continuity and hopefully success that we have long awaited. What we should be doing now is building the team for the next season. Even if we have a rough ride in our first year back in the premiership, NA and the team deserve our support and we need to show we are not there just when the ride is fun.

I'd be amazed if NA left us by virtue of a NC decision. As ruthless as NC is he's not an idiot. I still regret to this day the slagging off I gave him when he fired Pardew, but I was wrong and from what I understand he had valid reasons. This is Nigel's team now and he deserves this chance more than anyone.

Blogs 31 bloggersKnees-up Mother Brown #19 by wessex_exile February, and the U’s enter the most pivotal month of the season. Six games in just four weeks, with four of them against sides also in the bottom six. By March we should be either well clear of danger, or even deeper in the sh*t. With Danny Cowley’s U’s still unbeaten, and looking stronger game on game, I’m sure it’ll be the former, but first we have to do our bit to consign Steve ‘Sour Grapes’ Cotterill’s FGR back to non-league. After our shambolic 5-0 defeat at New Lawn, nothing would give me greater pleasure, even if it meant losing one of my closest awaydays in the process. What’s the excuse going to be today Steve – shocking pitch, faking head injuries, Mexican banditry or some other bit of sour-grapery bullsh*t? Queens Park Rangers Polls |
