After a period of reflection following Saturday's defeat against Carlisle, it's back to business tonight for the trip to Southend. With 27 points still to play for, the season's far from over and let's not forget that 3 points could, once again, lift us out of the drop zone. Although we don't have a good record at Root's Hall, we have already beaten Southend once this season and judging by their recent form, we couldn't ask for a better time to play them. Southend have lost their last 4 games and have the dubious distinction of having lost more games this season than any other team in the Division. The only Possible change from Saturday's starting line-up could be the possibility of Watkin making way for Thomas up front. New loan signing Brad Maylett is expected to make his second appearance for the Swans. What is for certain, is that the Swans have to come out breathing fire tonight if we're to come away from the east coast with smiles on our faces. The fans are 100% behind the team. Let's hope that the players are also up for it. After a few "hiccups", the Great Escape starts again, and what better way to answer our critics than to bounce straight back from Saturday's defeat with a win. With a full program of Division Three fixtures taking place, it promises to be a nail biting evening for Swans fans everywhere. So whether you're going to Southend or your listening on your radio or watching teletext!!! Get behind the boys 100% and together (the fans, team, management and the board) we'll keep this proud club of ours in the Football League. WHO ARE WE.....................................???
