One time Swansea City target Roger Johnson is confident that his Cardiff team will come out on top next Tuesday

Johnson elected for a career at Ninian Park ahead of the Liberty Stadium back in the summer of 2005 and he gets his first chance to sample the Liberty atmosphere on Tuesday night.

And he is confident that his team mates will leave with the 4th round place in their possession as he told BBC Sport: "It's going to be a high tempo game with no tackles being shirked

"I'm quite sure we'll come out on top and we'll be looking to make Cardiff proud.

"We want to win every game, but against our local rivals we'll be looking to win even more so.

"If we could get through and draw someone like Chelsea or Manchester United away, it would be a great day for everyone.

"Derbies are great. It will be the first proper derby I've played in with the fans not liking each other as much as (the ones at) these clubs do.

"It's a big game that hasn't happened for a few years and it'll be exciting.

"We'll be looking to make Cardiff proud. It's more for the fans. We'll be looking to give them the bragging rights when they go into work (the next day).

"When it says '3-0 to Cardiff' in the paper..that's our bragging rights.

"I'm looking forward to it. I can't wait. I'll be looking to play and get the win. I love all that kind of stuff.

"It'll be a good night. A little bit of rain will go down well and the tackles will be flying in.

"We've got a chance to go through like last year," said the centre back.

"We had a tougher run at this stage (of the competition) last year - I think we had West Brom.

"We've got someone in our league so it's going to be a tough game.

"We had Liverpool (in round four) last year, and that was amazing to go and play at Anfield.

"So there's a lot at stake and if we could get through and draw someone like Chelsea or Manchester United away, it would be a great day for everyone."
