Crystal Palace manager Neil Warnock believes that the Swans have no chance of the play offs this season

Warnock was talking to BBC Sport in response to comments made by Roberto this week where he said the Swans still had a chance of reaching the end of season lottery.

Warnock said "I think he is talking out of his hat really," Warnock told The Back Page.

"I don't think they've got any chance whatsoever but you have to say these things while you've got a mathematical chance and you've got to give your players and fans a bit of hope."

He added: "I've got a lot of respect for him [Martinez]. I think he's done a fantastic job.

"If their season finished now and they finished where they finish, they have had a great season and so has their manager."

Warnock's side is the only one in the division to have done the double over the Swans this season
