Wales U-21 captain Shaun MacDonald has returned to Yeovil Town on loan for three months

He spent a month at Huish Park last season before being recalled by former boss Roberto Martinez due to a midfield injury crisis.

MacDonald has made three appearances so far this campaign, including starts against Leicester and Middlesbrough in the opening two league fixtures.

The 21 year old can be recalled at any time after the first month of the three month loan period.

"I enjoyed my time at Yeovil last season," explained MacDonald.

"They looked after me well and I really enjoyed my football there.

"It's another chance for me to get some games under my belt. If I can chip in with a few goals along the way as well, it will be a bonus.

"At my age I need to be playing games and I would love to help Yeovil climb the table after all the support and faith they gave me last season when I was there."
