Bristol City manager Keith Millen believes his side were good value for their win at Ashton Gate

Nicky Maynard's late goal gave the home side victory over Swansea City and Millen believes it was the least his side deserved after taking the game to the promotion chasing Swans.

Millen said after the game "It was a hard-fought win on a hot day

"We knew Swansea would keep possession well but we pressed them whenever we could. On the ball we were really assured and probably out-passed them.

"I said at half-time that one goal would probably win it. We were on the front foot in the second half but there weren't many chances in the game at all.

"Sprouley certainly livened us up and Nicky's getting closer to the top of the scoring charts.

"Ivan is a very good impact player. He won't like me saying that, but when we do start him then he needs some more consistency.

"It was a hot day and there were some tired legs out there - it was crying out for Ivan. He torn them apart and won us the game.

"My CV's getting better as each game goes by. I'm enjoying every minute of it.

"The fans were brilliant again today and the players have been terrific, they're really enjoy themselves. The players are looking a force.

"We've got three games left - although we could do with five or six. I had a good chat with the chairman in the week and we'll talk again in the coming days.

"It's down to the chairman and whatever he decides I will go along with."
