Keeping you up to date with a few snippets of news arriving from Loftus Road over the past few days.

Firstly, the away game against Colchester United at Layer Road originally scheduled for Tuesday 2nd October, has now been moved back to the very next day, Wednesday 3rd October, Kick Off 19.45.

Keeper Jake Cole has put pen to paper on a one year, improved contract extension which will keep him at Loftus Road until the of of June 2009. John Gregory told the Official QPR Website;

"He is still very young and I wanted to improve his contract, both financially and in length.

"He is a fantastic understudy to Lee Camp and I was keen to secure his services for at least the next two seasons."

Congratulations to new Rangers signing, Danny Nardiello, who has been called up to the Wales squad for their forthcoming friendly against Bulgaria at the Naftex Stadium on Wednesday 22nd August.

And finally, congratulations go to R's duo, Michael Mancienne and Dexter Blackstock, who have been called up to the England Under-21 squad. Stuart Pearce has called the pair up for the forthcoming international friendly against Romania at Ashton Gate on Tuesday 21st August.
