Firstly, following a board meeting last week, Flavio Briatore has been appointed the Chairman of QPR Holdings Ltd. The news comes following the takeover of the club by Briatore, alongside Bernie Ecclestone and Lakshmi Mittal back in November. Mr Amit Bhatia, who is acting on behalf of Mr Mittal, has been appointed Vice Chairman of QPR Holdings Limited. Gianni Paladini remains Chairman of Queens Park Rangers Football Club. The new structure is as follows;

In other news, Manager Luigi De Canio was due to return to London tonight, after missing Saturday's win over Bristol City. De Canio had returned to his native Italy due to the death of his Father.
QPR Reserves, made a good account of themselves this afternoon, despite losing 2-1 in a behind closed doors friendly with an experienced West Ham side at Upton Park. Goals from Zamora and Bellamy, cancelled out Antonio German's opener for an R's line up that included Adam Bolder and Angelo Balanta. Nolberto Solano, Julian Faubert, Johnathon Spector, Luis Boa Morte and Richard Wright also featured for the Hammers.
And finally, youth team starlet, Romone Rose, has joined AFC Wimbledon for a period of work experience. The young striker has impressed at both Under-18 and reserve team level this season and will still be available to feature for the reserves as part of the arrangement with AFC Wimbledon.
