Championship Preview Thursday, 27th Mar 2008 20:12 LFW's looks ahead to this weekends action, elsewhere in the Coca Cola Championship. We are now entering the final straight and things are still as tight as ever at the top and the bottom of the Coca Cola Championship. An interesting encounter comes from Hillsborough as Sheffield Wednesday will look to continue their decent home form to get themselves out of the dreaded bottom three. But the Owls must overcome league leaders, Stoke to do so, Ameobi and all. Second placed Bristol City, have a home game against Norwich, who ended their recent bad run last Saturday, by thumping bottom club, Colchester 5-1. Staying at the top end and we have a 3rd v 4th clash and certainly looks to be the stand out game of the weekend from the KC Stadium, as Hull take on Watford. Hull have not only sneaked almost unnoticed into the play off positions, but must now fancy themselves for automatic promotion. If results go in their favour, the Tigers could finish the weekend sitting proudly on top of the league. There is a vital clash at the bottom, with Leicester taking on Scunthorpe at the Walkers Stadium in what is surely, a must win game for both sides. The same could well be said of Coventry, who have a tough looking home game against play off hopefuls, Plymouth. With respect, the home banker of the weekend comes from the Hawthorns as West Brom will look to get there promotion push back on track, following their FA Cup heroics. The Baggies take on bottom club Colchester. You watch this end up a draw now... And finally, there are a couple of 'games in hand' to catch up on next Tuesday and vital ones they are too, as cup semi finalists Cardiff and West Brom meet at Ninian Park. There is also a vital game from the wrong end of the table as Sheffield Wednesday take on Coventry at Hillsborough, in what is a vital game for both sides in their quest for Championship survival. LFW's preview of the R's visit to Ipswich will be online shortly. Championship Fixtures in full; Saturday, 29 March, 2008 Bristol City v Norwich City Tuesday 1st April, 2008
